Student
Visa
Many
travelers see student visas as the easiest way to spend time in Italy.
The embassy website clearly states that student visas are not issued
for private language schools, however I know more than one person who
received a student visa for courses at just such a school. One of these
schools was through the Società Dante Alighieri. On their website
they explain that foreign students will need to apply for a student
visa, and that their enrollment papers at the Dante Alighieri school
will serve as one of the requirements for this visa.
