A Visitors Australian visa can be granted for holidays, temporary employment sponsored by an employer, students etc. The Visa expires after a specified date. I wouldn’t recommend illegally overstaying or you could find yourself a guest of Australia Immigration Officials in one of Australia’s immigration centers.
